Transcript of the Will and Codicil dated 23rd January 1847 (Probate dated 27th December 1852) which has been split into the rows which were on a very wide sheet of paper:-

This is the last Will and Testament
of me John Burrough of the Parish of Bower Chalke in the County of Wilts husbandman I give and bequeath unto care of my ~~
Nephews Thomas Burrough William Burrough and Abner Burrough sons of my late brother Thomas Burrough deceased the sums of One hundred
and twenty pounds part of my capital stock in the three per cent Consolidated Annuities to each each of my Nephews Thomas Golding and John
Golding sons of my late sister Amy Golding the sum of seventy pounds other part of my capital stock in the same fund to my Niece Sally Day Wife of
William Day and daughter of my said late sister the sum of one hundred and twenty pounds other part of my said capital stock To my nephews ~~
John Burrough another son of my late brother Thomas and William Coombs son of my sister Molly Coombs the sum of one hundred and twenty
pounds other part of my said capital stock Upon trust to receive the dividends arising therefrom and to invest the same from time to time in their own names
in the same fund and to accumulate such trust moneys until Mary Coombs daughter of my late nephew Josiah Coombs shall attain the age of twenty
one years And on her attaining that age Upon trust to pay or transfer such trust money and accumulations unto the said Mary Coombs to and for her own
absolute use and benefit And in case of the death of the said Mary Coombs under the age of twenty one years Upon trust to pay or transfer such
trust moneys and accumulations immediately after her decease to her Mother Anne Coombes if she shall be then living or to the said Anne Coombs's
personal representatives if she shall be then dead to the said John Burrough and William Coombs the sum of one hundred and fifty pounds other part
of my said capital stock Upon trust to receive the dividends arising therefrom and to invest the same from time to time in the same fund and to accumulate
such last mentioned trust moneys until John Burrough Coombs son of the said William Coombs shall attain the age of twenty one years And on his ~~
attaining that age Upon trust to pay or transfer such trust moneys and accumulations unto the said John Burrough Coombs to and for his own absolute
use and benefit And in case of the death of the said John Burrough Coombs under the age of twenty one years Upon trust to pay or transfer the ~~
same unto his sister Mary Ody Coombs on her attaining the like age to and for her own absolute use and benefit and in the meantime to accumulate the ~~
same trust moneys in like manner for her benefit To the said John Burrough and William Coombs the sum of one hundred and twenty pounds other
part of my said capital stock Upon trust to receive the dividends arising therefrom and to invest the same from time to time in the same fund and to ~~
accumulate such last mentioned trust monies until the said Mary Ody Coombs shall attain the age of twenty one years And on her attaining that age Upon
trust to pay or transfer such trust moneys and accumulations unto the said Mary Ody Coombs to and for her own absolute use and benefit And in case of ~
the death of the said Mary Ody Coombs under the age of twenty one years Upon trust to pay or transfer the same unto her Brother the said John ~~
Burrough Coombs on his attaining the like age to and for his own absolute use and benefit and in the meantime to accumulate the same trust moneys in
like manner for his benefit To my said Nephew William Coombs the sum of Two hundred pounds part of my Capital stock in the New three pounds and
five shillings per cent annuities to and for his own use And to my housekeeper Anna Sill? the sum of thirty pounds sterling to and for her own use And
I direct that the several herein before mentioned legacies shall be transferred and paid within six calendar months after my decease And that my said
Trustees shall as to the several trust funds herein before mentioned be at liberty if they shall consider it expedient to sell out the same or any part thereof ~~ ~~
respectively and invest the produce in or upon other Government stocks? or funds or real securities and from time to time to vary and transpose the same ~~
stocks funds and securities for others of a like nature at their discretion I give and bequeath to Jeremiah Joffe the younger ( son of Jeremiah Joffe of Bower
Chalke aforesaid woodman ) in case he shall live to attain the age of twenty one years ( but not otherwise ) the sum of thirty pounds sterling to and for his
own use the same to be paid to him on his attaining such age And as to all and singular my freehold leasehold and copyhold messuages lands and ~~
hereditaments and real estate And as to all the residue of my moneys and securities for money household goods and furniture stock in husbandry and ~
all other my personal estate and effects I give devise and bequeath unto and to the use of my said Nephew John Burrough his heirs executors and ~~
administrators according to the nature and quality thereof respectively to and for his own absolute use and benefit Subject nevertheless as to my residuary personal
estate to the payment of my just debts and funeral and testamentary expenses And I appoint my said Nephews John Burrough and William Coombs ~ ~
Joint Executors of this my Will hereby revoking all former Wills by me made In Witness wareof I have hereunto set my hand this twenty third day of

the Testator as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who in his presence at his request and in the presence of each other have hereunto ~~ ~~

This is a Codicil in the within written Will of me John Burrough of Bower Chalke I revoke so much of my Will as ~~
directs that one of the legacies of One hundred and twenty pounds Consolidated Annuities thereby bequeathed ~~
shall be paid to Anne Coombs's personal representatives in case of her death at the time of the decease of her daughter Mary Coombs And in lieu thereof
part of my residuary personal estate I revoke so much of my said Will as makes the legacy of thirty pounds thereby bequeathed to Jeremiah Joffe ~
the younger routingout? on the event of his living to attain the age of twenty one years And in lieu thereof I direct that such legacy shall become vested
in him immediately on my decease but not payable to him until he attains such age and without interest in the meantime In Witness wareof I
have hereunto subscribed my hand this twenty third day of January one thousand eight hundred and forty seven ---------- John Burrough ----------

There is another document attached to the bottom which appears to be some kind of authorisation by Clarkson & Son, Proctor Doctors' Commons. Part of it says "Sworn under Two thousand Pounds and that the Testator died on or about 3rd October 1852".
